One of the best methods for managing anxiety or depression is mindfulness meditation. If you're like me, sitting still is difficult, and "clearing" your mind may be impossible. Evidence of mindfulness effectiveness is not just based on meditation alone. It is the use of acceptance during meditation for all your feelings, drifting thoughts, positive and negative emotions and the parts of our own unique internal world. This mindfulness with acceptance helps us tolerate more, accept ourselves, and look inside and see what is there without judgement. This helps our own integrative process and awareness of the present. Being aware of how we are feeling in our body and our thoughts allows more grace for ourselves and others.
